Success Principles

What are Success Principles? As you can see in the search box below, many authors, speakers and coaches have all put their own spin on a version them.

It seems like there are so many coaches and programs out there. You're unsure of who knows what and who you should listen to. Will a particular program help you or just take your money and leave you feeling no different then before? My approach is, check out several and find your favorite/s. No one person or program has all the answers. Look at it this way, if you go to a seminar, buy a program or book/video etc. and if you come away with even a single fresh idea that can help you to continue moving forward, have you been wronged? No!

Too many people into one program or philosophy and think "Ok transform my life!" Then get angry when they don't see any immediate surface results. The truly successful however, know the difference between the student and the master. The student always studies hard in his/her attempt to become a master, whereas the master realizes he/she will always be a student.

Things in our world are changing and the pace is faster then it ever has been in human history and it is only going to get faster. You need to constantly and continually learn and be open minded. The close minded people will never move forward because they continue to believe that change is bad instead of accepting it as part of an evolutionary process bringing new opportunities with it.

When you don't fear change and you allow yourself to look at it, you will see how your adapting to it will bring you the life you desire. Many see the tide changing but always try to swim against it instead of swimming with it. This will likely be one of the last generations to see safe secure life long jobs with a pension at the end. This next generation is already becoming an atmosphere that will see people having more then one job, or providing more then one service.

By applying success principles and learning some new skills people are already grasping the fact that aside from a job they can also create many other sources of income that once set up do not require much time to maintain and they are waking up to the prospect of being able to turn that supplemental income into a full time income and be able to do it from their home or anywhere else in the world providing they have an internet connection.

Too often the problem also lies in the way people think of success. Many associate money as success. Is it really? Money can be used as a method of keeping score and it's a great tool that allows you to accomplish or purchase particular things, but money alone is not success. Success to me is being able to do the things you want to do and have people pay you to do it. When you pursue your passion in accordance with success principles and do it with integrity, the money will find you and stay with you.

Having said that, I wanted to be able to present success principles to others in a way that would keep it basic. My goal is to help others to obtain their desire and in my attempt to do this I realized that all the success principles you need are contained inside the word desire.

Design your life. What do you want? You can really design your life. You have the ability to think the way YOU want to think and to take action in the manner you need to realize what you want. The first step in all success principles is to take 100% responsibility for your life, you need to be specific of your wants and desires and you need to make a plan.

Endeavor To Achieve it. Now that you have designed your life, make a promise to yourself to believe in yourself and believe you can achieve whatever you've designed. Remember, if it's a huge goal, it's going to take some time. It's all dependent on you and your personal action.

Seek help. It's really ok. How many of you grew up being told that "you have to work hard for your money", "stand on your own two feet", "The only way to do it right is to do it yourself". The last few generations have been conditioned to believe this, however more people are starting to realize that if they take control of their lives and invest in knowledge and guidance from others, they become successful faster with less stress and more fulfillment.

Instill Gratitude. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Is it fair? Yes it is. Don't think of it in terms of money. Remember money is only a part of being rich. Think of it in terms of how someone is with their generosity, their life and relationships. Those who celebrate their success with others, help others to achieve success and express gratitude for all they have, they will receive more. Those who squander their money, refuse to help others and never express gratitude, are poor and will only become poorer. Regardless of how much money they have. Now is it fair? Always be grateful, life is too short to be unhappy.

Remain Patient and Persistent. Remember impatience and greed are the two quickest killers of success. There are no get rich quick schemes but you can become wealthy in a relatively short period of time by being patient enough to learn new skills and being persistent enough to accept some failures and delays as part of your learning curve. Don't give up! The only time you ever truly fail is when you make the decision to quit!

Enjoy your life! Is your life fun right now? If not, why not? Life can be truly wonderful or if you want, it can be truly miserable. It really is up to you, if you need help it's available, take advantage of it. When you are happy and healthy you start to realize the abundance that is around you that was blocked out before. You will become rich in every aspect of your life!
